The French War-Chest is Stolen
The people of Freudenberg who managed to get some of the money blow it all and live like kings. When the money is all gone, they go into debt so they can keep their new lifestyle. But as they are unable to pay anything back, they are soon even poorer than they were before stealing the war-chest.
Oh, well, easy come, easy go...
Now at least the world knows why Freudenberg wasn’t chosen as the financial capital. The people here just don’t know how to handle money...
